If you are a passenger who has arrived at the wrong Incheon Airport terminal, the airport railroad connects the two and the ride is short and cheap. Which terminal your airline uses is printed on your ticket and is the one thing to check before you set out, because the two buildings are far enough apart that walking is not an option. Allow for the transfer on top of your immigration time. Fares and times below are the airport's own published figures, verified in September 2026.

How do I get from one terminal to the other?
The quickest connection is the train. On 공항철도 (Airport Railroad Express line) the inter-terminal hop costs ₩1,050 and takes 6 minutes.
It is a paid service, not a free internal shuttle, so you need a ticket or a transit card before you go through. The machines are where you would expect them: Airport Railroad ticket vending machines and ticket counter are in the Transportation Center, Basement 1 of each terminal.
Is there a bus between the terminals instead?
인천국제공항 (Incheon International Airport) runs its own shuttle network, but read the route boards before joining a queue — most of those services connect terminals to parking, not to each other. One of them runs around the clock: AIRPORT 02 between Terminal 2 and its long-term parking runs a 24-hour service at 6-30 minute intervals.
The terminal-side stops are marked: AIRPORT 01 stops at Passenger Terminal 1 3C and 13C on the 1st floor, across from Gates 3 and 13, and that route runs 04:30–24:00 every 8-16 minutes.
Which terminal does my airline use?
This page cannot tell you, and neither can any general guide reliably — airlines move between the two buildings. Your boarding pass and your booking confirmation carry it, and the airport's departure boards confirm it on the day. Check there rather than relying on a list.

What if I need step-free help crossing over?
There is a free service, and it needs arranging rather than turning up: A free lift car service is available for wheelchair users on weekdays 05:00-24:00, arranged by phone in advance. The number to call is 032-741-3217.
Book it ahead where you can — availability depends on vehicles and staff at the time you ask.
What if I am connecting and the margin is tight?
Budget the transfer as a leg of its own, not as a walk. On top of the ride itself, Allow 1-2 hours for immigration after the flight lands before a booked departure — so a connection that assumed you were already landside is a connection that is already behind.
If you are also travelling on to Gimpo rather than between terminals, that is a different journey: Airport Railroad Train (AREX), airport limousine buses, and taxis, taking 30-40 minutes nonstop.
