Help at Incheon Airport: 1330, lost property and accessibility

Highlights
The short answer
At Incheon Airport, visitors can turn to three kinds of help: the Korea Travel Hotline for tourist information, interpretation in multiple languages and complaints; the airport help desk line and the information desks in the terminal; and, for items left on an aircraft, an airport bus or the airport train, the operator concerned, because the airport's Lost and Found does not handle those. If you use a wheelchair, the airport lists a free lift car on weekdays, arranged by phone in advance. Numbers, opening hours and retention rules below were checked against official airport, hotline and Seoul Metro pages in September 2026.

This guide is for visitors who land at Incheon International Airport (인천국제공항) and need a person to help: an interpreter on the phone, a staffed desk in the terminal, the office holding a lost bag, or the free lift vehicle for wheelchair users. It also covers who to contact about things left on the airport train, an airport bus or an aircraft, which the airport's Lost and Found does not handle. Phone numbers, opening hours and fees below are taken from official airport, hotline and Seoul Metro pages. If your plans hinge on one exact hour, confirm it with the service before you travel.
Which number should I call for which problem?
Save these on your phone before you fly. Each row is explained in the sections below.

|---|---|---|
| You need interpretation or travel information | Korea Travel Hotline | 1330 (in Korea), +82-2-1330 (from Overseas) |
| A question about the airport itself | Incheon Airport help desk | 1577-2600 (international: 82-2-1577-2600) |

| Theft or another crime in Terminal 1 | Terminal 1 crime reporting line | 032-740-0112 |
What is the Korea Travel Hotline, and how do I reach it?
Here is what the Korea Travel Hotline 1330 offers. 1330 provides tourist information, tourist interpretation to access travel information in multiple languages, and handles tourist complaints.
From a Korean phone line, dial 1330. When calling from overseas, use +82-2-1330.
You do not have to make an ordinary phone call. 1330 can be reached by online voice call (Wi-Fi required for a free call), online chat, the 1330 Messenger (no download needed), KakaoTalk, Facebook, or Line.
That helps when you are on Wi-Fi but do not have a Korean SIM yet. Open the messenger or chat option, describe the problem, and keep the conversation on screen so you can show it to staff.
The same service handles tourist complaints. To submit a tourist complaint online, go to www.touristcomplaint.or.kr.
Where can I get help in person inside the terminal?
The Incheon International Airport help desk line is 1577-2600 (international: 82-2-1577-2600).
Its listed weekday hours are 07:00–22:00. Outside those hours, walk to a staffed desk instead. Terminal 1 has information desks that are listed as open around the clock:
- 24-hour information desk near Exit 5 on 1F, Terminal 1.
- 24-hour information desk near Exit 10 on 1F, Terminal 1.
Families can borrow a pushchair at the same desks. Strollers are available for free rental at all information desks within the airport.
In Terminal 2, the airport bus information desk listed in the bus section below is open around the clock.
I lost something in the terminal. Where is Lost and Found?
Items found inside the terminal buildings go to the airport's own Lost and Found office, one in each terminal. Contact the office for the terminal where you think you lost the item.
| Terminal 1 | Terminal 2 | |
|---|---|---|
| Office | Lost and Found Office, B1 Floor, Terminal 1 | Lost and Found Office, One-stop Public Service, 2nd Floor, Public Area, Terminal 2 |
| Phone | 032-741-3110, 3114 | 032-741-8988, 8989 |
| lostnfound@biz.airport.kr | lostnfound2@biz.airport.kr | |
| Hours | Weekdays 07:00–21:30, weekends 07:00–21:30 | Not listed in our sources; call before going |
When you call or write, give the date, the rough time, the area of the terminal and a description of the item, including any name tag or distinctive marks.
Found items are also registered on a police portal, which helps if you have already left the airport. Found items are registered on the Police Civil Service 24 portal (https://minwon24.police.go.kr) where the owner can search.
Items can also be sent by collect-on-delivery parcel. The delivery fee depends on the item's size and weight, with a minimum of ₩7,000.
How long will the airport keep my item?
Retention depends on what the item is, so move quickly on anything electronic or anything with your identity on it.
| Item | What happens to it |
|---|---|
| Foreign passport | Foreign passports are kept for one month from the date of discovery before being transferred to the respective embassy |
| Phone, tablet or smartwatch | Mobile phones, tablet PCs and smartwatches are stored for one month, then transferred to the Mobile Phone Lost & Found Center (1566-4300) |
| Empty suitcase or bag | Kept for 7 days |
| Portable battery | Immediate disposal |
| Other items | Statutory retention period of 6 months plus a finder’s acquisition period of 3 months before transfer to the national treasury and disposal |
Who handles things left on the AREX train or an airport bus?
Items lost on an aircraft, airport bus or airport railroad are handled by the respective organization, not the airport Lost and Found.
For the Airport Railroad Express line (공항철도), call the Airport Railroad hotline on 1599-7788.
For an airport limousine bus, contact the bus operator concerned, not the airport's Lost and Found. The airport lists these airport bus information desks:
- Airport Bus Information desk near Exit 11 in the public area on 1st Floor, Terminal 1, with listed weekday hours of 06:00–22:00.
- Airport Bus Information desk open 24 hours near Exit 9 on 1F, Terminal 2.
- Phone: 032-741-6400.
The same rule covers anything left on the aircraft: contact your airline rather than the airport's Lost and Found.
How do I book the free wheelchair lift vehicle?
A free lift car service is available for wheelchair users on weekdays 05:00-24:00, arranged by phone in advance.
To book, call the shuttle bus operations line on 032-741-3217. Do this before you travel if you can, not after you land.
The airport's parking pages also list a free wheelchair lift between the long-term car park and the terminal, on the same contact number. Free wheelchair lift transport is available between the long-term parking lot and the terminal, contact 82-32-741-3217, roughly 20 minutes, operating 5:00-22:00.
The two pages give different closing times. Plan around the earlier one and confirm the time for your day when you book. Neither page describes a weekend or public-holiday schedule, so if you arrive or depart on one of those days, call ahead rather than assume the vehicle is running.
What other help is there for passengers with reduced mobility?
The lift vehicle is one service among several. The airport also lists these:
- Staffed assistance desks. Special Assistance desk near Gate 29 on 3F, Terminal 1, open 07:00-21:00. There is also the T1 Safe Travel Center for the Disabled near Exits 7-8 on 3rd Floor, Terminal 1, open 07:00-19:00, reachable on 032-741-2082.
- Electric cart and wheelchair transport. Electric vehicle and wheelchair transport service: contact the help desk (1577-2600) in advance or ask on-site; not available at long-term or reserved parking lots; does not include baggage handling.
- Drop-off on departure day. Designated drop-off zones for disabled passengers are near Exits 3, 7, and 12 at Terminal 1, and near Exits 4 and 9 at Terminal 2.
- Help phone. The disabled-passenger help phone lists weekday hours of 07:00–22:00. The disabled-passenger help phone is not available from 7:00 to 9:00 AM during peak season.
Call taxis for disabled passengers can be booked through 1588-4388 (operated by Seoul Facilities Corporation) or 1577-0320 (operated by Incheon Transport Corporation).
For the subway, Seoul Metro's facility record for Seoul Station lists: 4 elevators, 3 escalators, 1 wheelchair lift and 1 accessible restroom recorded for this station.
Who do I call for a medical problem, a theft or a lost passport?
For illness or injury in the terminal, the airport medical centres answer on 032-743-3119 (Terminal 1) and 032-743-7080 (Terminal 2). The Terminal 1 clinic is the Inha University Hospital airport clinic on the east side of the public area, B1, Terminal 1, with listed weekday hours of 08:00–20:00 and two listed closures within those hours, one around midday and one in the early evening, so phone before walking over. The airport fire department's Terminal 1 number is 032-741-2119.
The Terminal 1 number for reporting a theft or another crime is 032-740-0112.
If your passport is missing, contact Lost and Found for the terminal you were in. A found foreign passport does not stay at the airport indefinitely: it is held for a limited period and then transferred to the respective embassy, as the retention table above shows.
How do I get into Seoul by taxi if I don't speak Korean?
Start with a warning from the airport itself. Illegal solicitation and overcharging by call vans posing as taxis are common; use the designated taxi stands.
If you want a driver with foreign language support, the airport lists the International Taxi. Official designated taxi with foreign language support. Its phone line is 1644-2255, and its pickup points are: Terminal 1 pickup location 4C; Terminal 2 pickup location 3C.
In Seoul, a flat fare applies for the International Taxi. The flat-fare amount is not in our sources, so ask for it when you book.
What if the office is closed or nobody answers?
Several of the staffed services above list limited opening hours rather than round-the-clock service. When the office you need is closed:
- Go to a desk that stays open. The Terminal 1 information desks and the Terminal 2 airport bus information desk above are listed as open around the clock.
- Write instead of calling. Lost and Found takes email, so send the details now and follow up by phone when the office opens.
- Search the police found-item portal. Items are registered there, so you can check from your hotel or from home.
- Use the hotline's chat channels. With Wi-Fi and no calling plan, chat or messenger reaches the Korea Travel Hotline without a phone call.
- Call from abroad if you have already left. The help desk and the hotline both publish international numbers, shown in the sections above.
If a stranger offers a ride while you wait, decline and go to the official taxi stand.
